Day 1 : Casablanca » Rabat » Chefchaouen. (340 km - 5h30)

  • Sahara Desert Excursions driver/Guide will pick you up from the hotel or Airport in Casablanca, depending on your flight time. Then, we will begin our 7-day desert tour from Casablanca journey and drive to Chefchaouen passing through Casablanca, where we will see the Hassan II Mosque and take a panoramic trip of Casablanca and its diverse neighborhoods. We will continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Visit the highlights of Rabat city, including the Royal Palace and the Mausoleums of Mohammad V and Hassan II, two rulers who worked hand-in-hand with the Jewish community. After that, we will continue to Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains. We will arrive at Chefchaouen in the afternoon, and you will have free time to visit this beautiful town. Overnight in your riad, enjoying the Rif Mountains.

Day 2 : Chefchaouen » vulibilis » Fez. (197 km - 4h)

  • After a tasty breakfast in the riad, our 7-day desert tour from Casablanca continues towards Volubilis, crossing via Ouazan and other Rif villages. In Volubilis, we will discover the Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history. Then we will drive to Meknes city (the 17th-century heritage) where we will stop for lunch, discover the medina’s historical walls, bab el Mansour, and enjoy a visit to Moulay Ismail Greenery. Later in the afternoon, we head to Fes city where you will spend an overnight stay.

Day 3 : A Day to visit Fez.

  • After breakfast, you will explore Fez on a Guided day tour, the cultural capital which is one of the most complete medieval Islamic cities in the world. Entering through Bab Ftouh, discover the Andalusian district and admire the exterior of its mosque. Make your way through the tanning, dye working, and copper working neighborhoods to the place Seffarine. Then, to the University of Al-Karaouine which houses Africa’s oldest mosque. Pause in front of the mausoleum of the man who founded Fes, Idris I. Visit the place Nejjarine and admire its famous fountain. Finally, explore the beautiful Nejjarine Museum of Wood Arts and Crafts.
    In the afternoon, continue your visit to the medina, stopping in front of the “blue gate” of Fes, Bab Boujouloud, with an optional visit to the Attarine Medersa. Tour the city ramparts and pause at Borj Norj for a splendid medina view. Discover the ancient Jewish quarter and the outside of the Royal Palace. Next, visit the pottery district. Then, at the city’s outskirts, stop at an artisanal complex before ending the tour and returning to your Riad.

Day 4 : Fez » Ifrans » cedar Fores » Merzouga. (456 km - 8h)

  • Today, we will travel to Sahara from Fes via Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland.” Later, we will visit the Cedar forest, where we will stop to enjoy watching the monkeys climb the cedars. Then we will continue via the Middle Atlas mountains and the Ziz valley, one of the largest palm groves and oases in southern Morocco. Our 7-day desert tour from Casablanca continues to Erfoud city, famous for its fossils Museums and Factories. Arrive in Merzouga, where you will have free time to meet locals in the villages. You can also take part in an outdoor Merzouga activity, like ATV quad adventure, to enjoy the charming sunset on the top of Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Overnight stay in a Riad near Merzouga sand dunes.

Day 5 : A Day to visit Merzouga (Visit Nomads & Sahara surroundings - Camel trek)

  • On day 5 during our 7 Days Morocco Travel, after breakfast, we’ll go on a Merzouga desert adventure. We will explore the most interesting desert surroundings. Firstly, we will visit the Nomads who still live a simple life under tents and raise camels, goats, and sheep. We will spend some time with them and discover their lifestyle. Then, we will leave for Mifiss’s mine of plumb. Further, on the 4WD desert tour, we will travel to Khamlia, a small village that is about 5 km from Merzouga. Here, you will discover another lifestyle of Gnaouas who have kept their unique traditions. We will also visit the panoramic view of Galb Nass, the 4WD cars Museum, and the desert Oases. Lunch will be in a local restaurant.
    In the afternoon, you will experience Merzouga camel trekking across Erg Chebbi sand dunes to reach the authentic Sahara camp. When you arrive, you can experience sandboarding while enjoying the sunset. Spend the night in a desert camp with Nomads. They will serve you dinner, then play drums for you around the campfire. Enjoy watching the stars before going to bed. Overnight stay in a private desert tent.

Day 6 : Merzouga » Rissani » Todra Valley & Gorge » Dades Valley . (241 km - 4h)

  • The following day, on our 7-day Morocco road trip, you will wake up early to appreciate a breathtaking sunrise over Merzouga erg Chebbi. After breakfast and showering in the desert camp, we will take you back to Merzouga Village, either by camel trekking or 4WD (as you wish). Then, we will drive to Rissani, where we will visit a museum of fossils and have a walk in the traditional Market. Subsequently, our 7-day Morocco desert experience continues through many Berber and Arabic villages, Mellab, Tinjdad, Jourf, and this last one known for the wells of an old system of irrigation. We will have a stop there to visit this attraction. Lunch will be in Mellab or Tinjdad (Optional).

Day 7 : Dades Valley » Skoura oasis » Ouarzazate » Marrakech . (313 km - 7h)

  • We will have breakfast with breathtaking views of Dades valley. Then, we will continue our 7-day Casablanca trip to Marrakech, passing through Roses valley and Skoura Oasis palm groves.
    The next stop will be in Ouarzazate, where we will have a small visit to Taourirt Kasbah. After 27 km of the road, we will reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has been used as a backdrop for shooting numerous Hollywood Movies, including “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” “Kingdom of Heaven,” “Prince of Persia,” and much more. The Kasbahs (fortresses) reflect the exotic Moroccan architecture and cultures.
    After exploring the kasbah, we will continue a little further in the High Atlas Mountains through the “Tichka pass,” which will lead us to Marrakech, where our 7-day desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakech via Chefchaouen, Fes, and the Sahara desert ends.
